Letting Go
In life, some things are not truly forgotten; rather, one is finally willing to let them go.
"Entering the Mist, Forgetting the Dust" describes a state of slowly stepping away from the commotion of the world.
Those people, events, and emotions we once clung to float around us like dust.
And when one is willing to walk into the mist, the world instead begins to grow quiet.
It is not an escape from the mortal world, but a temporary release of our attachment to it.
Letting go does not mean forgetting.
It means finally being willing to let oneself feel a little lighter.
Ren Jian Wan Xiang | The Human Experience within Fragrance
Everything in the world has a place to return to. Some people use incense to honor the divine; others use it to quiet the mind. What "Ren Jian Wan Xiang" wishes to speak of is not merely the gods, but the moments in life that each of us has experienced. The past we cannot let go of, the people we meet, the time spent in solitude, and finally, that moment of learning to reconcile with oneself and returning to the heart.
"Ren Jian Wan Xiang" is a fragrance brand inspired by Eastern culture, religious imagery, and human emotions. The brand founder and perfumer, Ten, grew up in a traditional Buddhist altar supply store. Incense smoke, sandalwood, ash, and various scents became his first way of experiencing the world. Later, entering the world of perfume and perfumery, he began to try using another language to re-interpret those scents that had accompanied him since childhood. Thus, the divine was no longer just a distant symbol of faith, but a mirror reflecting the human heart. The "Ren Jian Wan Xiang" collection began here.
This is not a set of perfumes about "gods." It is a journey about "humanity." Written through four states of life, there are four fragrances: Letting Go | Encounter | Clarity | Homecoming
