What we fear has never been the waves, but the world beneath them—that unseen realm where light never reaches.

When creating Poseidon, I didn't want to make a fragrance about sunshine, beaches, and azure waters. I wanted to know: if one were to walk straight down into the deep abyss of the sea, what would the scent become?

The story begins at the surface. Pink pepper and sea breeze greet us, carrying a dusting of salt, while incense resembles the final prayers left on the shore before setting sail. As the ship slowly drifts away from land, that wisp of smoke vanishes, and the ocean changes color—from transparent to blue, deep blue, indigo, and finally, near black.

Thus, I used "ink" and "sea salt" to form the heart of this ocean. No flowers, no fruits—leaving only the purest salt, minerals, water, and an uneasy vertigo of not knowing how deep the abyss lies beneath our feet.

Further down, ambergris, musk, and benzoin gradually emerge. Strangely enough, the scent does not grow colder; instead, a trace of warmth appears, as if in a place where sunlight can never reach, some colossal lifeform is slowly breathing.

Until the sea suddenly falls still. No wind, no waves. Poseidon has never stood above the surface of the sea. From the very moment we leave the land, the entire ocean is His body.

ICP — Imagine Creating Perfume

If a story could be smelled, what would it scent like? Perhaps the damp stone walls of a city after rain, the unpainted wind within a painting, the lingering resonance hanging in the air after a piece of music ends, or perhaps a memory that suddenly resurfaces years later. These fleeting, unpreservable moments became the genesis of ICP's creation.

We are a perfume house centred around imagination, acting much like a travelling author, wandering between cities, art, culture, music, architecture, and literature, bringing back the stories and emotions encountered along the way, and rewriting them through scent.

Thus, we rarely just ask: "What does this perfume smell like, and what are its notes?" Instead, we want to know: "What does it make you think of?"

Because we believe that what truly completes a perfume is not just the perfumer, but also the person who happens to catch its scent. The exact same fragrance might remind someone of a city they have never visited, prompt another to recall someone they haven't seen in a long time, or allow someone to catch a glimpse of another side of themselves within it.

And so, perfume is no longer just perfume; It begins to hold a story.

If you were to imagine ICP as a place, we hope it resembles a library of scents, where every fragrance is a book waiting to be opened. Some are written about travel, some collect myths, some originate from paintings, music, and history, while others record emotions so elusive even we struggle to put them into words. And what we do is simply write the very first page using scent. The rest of the story is left for your imagination to complete.

In the future, ICP will continue to walk among different countries and cultures, To feel, to explore, and to leave behind our own olfactory footprints. Because there are still too many stories in this world Waiting to be smelled.
