Description:

If I were to choose a scent for wisdom, I believe it wouldn't be the smell of books or ink, but rather an olive leaf.

According to legend, the gods once competed for a yet-unnamed city. Poseidon struck the earth with his trident, displaying divine power, while Athena summoned no storms, leaving behind only an olive tree. It could bear fruit, produce oil, fuel lamps, and build structures, continuing to thrive through the long passage of time. The people ultimately chose her gift, and thus the city was named "Athens."

I am particularly fond of a detail about the olive leaf: its upper side is a muted grey-green, while its underside shimmers with a nearly metallic silvery-white. When the wind blows through an olive grove, thousands of leaves flip simultaneously, causing the entire hillside to flicker between green and silver.

That reminds me of Athena. She is wisdom, yet she is also war—nurturing civilization on one hand while clad in silver armor on the other. Therefore, in presenting Athena, I did not want to craft this fragrance into a soft olive branch.

Calamus, grapefruit, lime, and green leaves first form a dry, slightly bitter, silvery-green aura. Olive, lily of the valley, violet, and iris gradually emerge, casting a layer of grey-white, quiet powdery mist over the green. Finally, angelica, tonka bean, benzoin, amber, and cedarwood linger, like olive wood and lamplight slowly sinking into the city's night.

ATHENA: Olive Silver Leaf

Might can conquer a city, but wisdom allows a civilization to endure for a thousand years.

Brand Introduction

ICP — Imagine Creating Perfume

If a story could be smelled, what would it scent like? Perhaps the damp stone walls of a city after rain, the unpainted wind within a painting, the lingering resonance hanging in the air after a piece of music ends, or perhaps a memory that suddenly resurfaces years later. These fleeting, unpreservable moments became the genesis of ICP's creation.

We are a perfume house centred around imagination, acting much like a travelling author, wandering between cities, art, culture, music, architecture, and literature, bringing back the stories and emotions encountered along the way, and rewriting them through scent.

Thus, we rarely just ask: "What does this perfume smell like, and what are its notes?" Instead, we want to know: "What does it make you think of?"

Because we believe that what truly completes a perfume is not just the perfumer, but also the person who happens to catch its scent. The exact same fragrance might remind someone of a city they have never visited, prompt another to recall someone they haven't seen in a long time, or allow someone to catch a glimpse of another side of themselves within it.

And so, perfume is no longer just perfume; It begins to hold a story.

If you were to imagine ICP as a place, we hope it resembles a library of scents, where every fragrance is a book waiting to be opened. Some are written about travel, some collect myths, some originate from paintings, music, and history, while others record emotions so elusive even we struggle to put them into words. And what we do is simply write the very first page using scent. The rest of the story is left for your imagination to complete.

In the future, ICP will continue to walk among different countries and cultures, To feel, to explore, and to leave behind our own olfactory footprints. Because there are still too many stories in this world Waiting to be smelled.

Perfume is made complete by imagination.
