Belonging to the Chamaecyparis genus, it is primarily found in higher latitude regions, particularly famous in Taiwan and Japan. Native Japanese Hinoki, including Hinoki Cypress and Sawara Cypress, is prized for its unique strength and flexibility, often used in the construction of palaces and shrines. By blending Western herbal influences with traditional Chinese medicinal aromatics, and accentuating them with a zesty citrus peel note, we have created a mysterious, slightly spicy, and sweet scent that is truly unforgettable.
